We Are Bombolini Pasta

We are a family owned business located in The Fan in Richmond, Virginia.

Lolita

Lolita learned the fresh pasta trade in 2005 while working at an upscale Italian restaurant in Key West, Florida where she was making batches of fresh pasta every day.

John

John is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a degree in culinary arts.


Ella & Laila

Ella and Laila are our lovely daughters. They help channel extra joy into our lives to keep our creative juices flowing.

Mopsis

You may recognize Mopsis as he is our logo inspiration. To us he symbolizes our love for family and the extra character we bring to our pasta.

The Biz

In 2008, we launched Bombolini Pasta, using our combined culinary skills as well as our optimism and creativity to bring high-quality, uniquely flavored pasta to the fresh pasta scene in central Virginia. At first, it was a small operation with no storefront. However, within a couple years Bombolini Pasta’s popularity grew, gaining quite a bit of loyal customers throughout the city and beyond. Many restaurants and stores started carrying Bombolini Pasta products. In 2010, we opened a storefront in the heart of The Fan in Richmond, Va, extending our staff and menu, including such products as freshly made sandwiches and a large wine selection.

We closely monitor every step of the pasta production. Using only the finest quality ingredients and the skills acquired by years of practice make Bombolini Pasta the finest quality fresh pasta available. The public's interest has grown for healthy and local gourmet foods over the years. Consumers are increasingly excited about fresh pasta given its superior quality and nutritional value, as well as its ease of preparation. Bombolini Pasta enjoys incorporating exciting, non-traditional ingredients into this highly traditional product. The sky is the limit!
